I've been waiting all day for the delivery guy, I just got these today. I have two other pairs of Frye's and have a Frye obsession. Both of my other two pairs are not nearly as comfortable as these and my other two are very hard to take on and off because they are so stiff. Straight out of the box these are so comfortable and very easy to get on and off. I wouldn't say they are soft but they are definitely softer vs. the stiffness that my other two pairs have. I usually get one size up if there is a heel because I have a bum toe that was broken when I was 8 and heels that are to high hurt immediately upon putting on higher heel shoes, which really bums me out. These do not hurt at all. I can wear these with thicker socks because they are a tad larger but not huge manish size if you know what I mean. some Frye's tend to look manish but still are awesome. These are a bit more refined in look. I was worried about the grey Ice Washed color but it looks nice, natural and neutral. I also struggle with the opening on short boots, in that I don't love when it doesn't fit snug around my leg but with these it doesn't bother me at all that they are a little looser. These are awesome. Get them! I love them.
