Why on Earth didn't I buy a thermos like this earlier?I chose this item because it stated in the description that its purpose is for domestic and industrial use. Particular latter had impressed me as I remember vaguely flasks like these on NHS conference trolleys to offer visitors hot beverages on a self-help baisis. Now owning myself one I can tell: this is a really brilliant product. It keeps water steaming hot for at least 12 hours, only after 14 hours or so it becomes warm. I've read other people's reviews that they have problems with the handle. So far my impression is that the handle is pretty robust and serves its purpose, but I keep it stationary in my kitchen anyway. I'm pretty happy now, as I have concluded that in my home setting switching on a 1kW - 3kW kettle at least a dozen times during the day for the odd cuppa has cost me a fortune on my electricity which is important in particular in the current climate (British Gas just increased by 15.8% their rates, other electricity providers are expected to follow suit).I can recommend this gadget to any household/student household, who want to reduce their electricity bill. Fill this baby up in the morning and you've got plenty of hot water that last you through the day!!!
